A recruitment practice built inside a software company

    AlgoSmiths Talent is the hiring arm of AlgoSmiths SoftCom, a software development company in New Delhi. We recruit software, reliability, ML, data and security engineers, technical program managers and engineering managers for other companies, and the people who interview them are engineers who build software with AlgoSmiths every day.

    Why a software company recruits

    Hiring our own engineers taught us where tech hiring breaks. CVs list tools, not ability. Recruiters can check notice periods and salary, but not whether someone can design an API, write a test plan or defend a design decision. So the first technical round lands on the client's busiest engineers, and most of the people they meet were never a fit.

    We already run that technical round for ourselves. AlgoSmiths Talent offers it to other companies, inside a full recruiting process: sourcing, a recruiter screen, an engineer-led interview with a written report, your rounds, the offer and the notice period.

    What we commit to

    Promises we can keep from the first role we take on.

    • An engineer interviews every candidate

      No profile reaches a client until someone who does the same work has interviewed them and written a report.

    • We say when we're not the right fit

      We only take roles our panel can judge properly: mid-level to principal engineers across software, reliability, ML, data and security, plus TPMs and engineering managers. Everything else, we turn down.

    • Candidates never pay

      Not for applying, interviews or placement. We share a profile only after the candidate agrees to that role, and we give honest feedback either way.

    • We don't poach from clients

      We never approach people who work at companies we recruit for.

    • We stay until the hire has settled

      We follow up through the notice period and the first months, and replace a hire once if it doesn't work out within 90 days.
